Kittens We have been on tender hooks the last few weeks waiting for our outside cat 'Black Tiger' to have her first litter of kittens. Last Monday the day arrived and what was excitement soon turned into upset. As the kids ran out to find the kittens they found four lying all over the grass in our garden plot looking lifeless. Boo was completely distract and kept saying 'Why does this have to happen to me!" After some thought I decided to leave the kittens alone as my husband (who is braver than me by far) was out. Later Boo wanted to 'check' on them - as she insisted a miracle could happen. GUESS WHAT - IT DID!! You would not believe how excited she was to come in and tell me that she saw a kitten move! I went out a little (a lot) dubious to check on her findings. She was right all four were showing signs of life - AMAZING We went inside to get some warm bedding etc... I was searching for the perfect 'Belle' hairstyle for Boo as her Grandmother is making her a 'Belle' dress for our upcoming trip to Disney World. She thought long and hard about which Disney Princess she wanted to be... Grandma said she could choose any! Well after searching the Internet for pictures of the Princess's popular (and not so popular) she decided on Belle. (The fact that they have the same hair color probably had something to do with it!) This is the best I found   princesshairstyles.com  in fact this is my 'go-to' site when I want to try something new with Boo's hair. I need to make a trip to the dollar store and have a go. Boo has longer hair than the little girl pictured in the link and i will have to curl the back more but I think the general idea is excellent. I will post some pictures of our trial run and more when we get back from Disney this summer. Check out the website  http://www.princesshairstyles.com/  and check out the

Easter Nests Our favorite Easter treat is SO simple to make I had to share it!  When I was a child, we made and loved them and so of course the tradition began. You find these every Easter at our house (but not for very long) It's as easy as 1,2,3                                                      1.Post Shredded Wheat (the BIG kind)                                                      2. Chocolate (I use milk chocolate)                                                      3. Cadbury Mini Eggs (My kids got the 'peeps' from our local store for entering a coloring competition) So now you have the HUGE shopping list I better get on with the VERY complicated directions. Break up the shredded wheat (I do this while it is still in the wrapper) Melt the chocolate (use your favorite method - I did it today in the microwave as I was feeling lazy) Mix the chocolate and shredded wheat (I used 5 of the small packets out of 1 box and 2 ba
