However, with perfect attendance all year he nearly blew it this morning, he completely slept threw his alarm. Luckily he can get ready fast and when Dad got up ready to drive him, he was woken up, and ready to leave in literally five minutes - he showers at night - Thankfully! This is the scripture that Jam is working on at the moment. He is down to the final 6 for the seminary year and he is very excited! He's been very self motivated working on his list of 25 scriptures. In fact I completely missed the last scripture as he had passed it off before I had time to blog it. This latest scripture is still in Isaiah. He's found the scriptures in this book a little more of the challenge. It's time to memorize a new scripture. Jam found the last one a little harder. He said that it didn't rhyme or have any rhythm to it. When it's like that he finds it a little more difficult. I have been so proud of the effort he is making to study these scriptures. As usual we have been writing them on the glass door in the kitchen and it really helps us all focus on that scripture for the time it takes Jam to memorize it. We don't all consciously work on memorizing but we end up feeling connected to it by the end of the week. This weeks scripture gives us a lot to think about.   Disclosure of Material Connection: Some of the links in the post above are “affiliate links.” This means if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission. Jam passed his scripture off on Monday with his  Seminary Teacher . So it's time for another one. Since I jumped out of order last week as I picked up the wrong card. We are back in Psalms. This is one of my favorites. Well he's done it again, Jam is completely blowing me away with his dedication this year. He's really working hard at memorizing his  Seminary Scriptures  and passed off another one yesterday. So we have a new scripture written on our glass door in the kitchen. Since there is no Seminary next week this one may be up a little longer. However, there is also a good chance he could memorize this by Friday! I was a little slow posting our scripture of the week. We started this one on Monday as it took Jam a little longer to memorize the 10 commandments for Seminary. However he beat me to it this week. I was preparing this post and he looked over my shoulder and said that I was behind because he passed this one off in Seminary this morning. That kid and his dedication amazes me! However I'm sharing it anyway because I worked hard on this one - isn't the picture fun!
