Enjoying the Chaos

Where have the last 6 weeks gone. 1. We took my niece to the airport yesterday - I can't believe she was with us for 6 weeks - Time flies when you are having fun (and moving house).  2. To cheer everyone up we went over to see my nephew. Snuggling a baby can be a great help to a new mom. My sister-in-law said it was so nice to be able to catch up on a few jobs...we didn't feel it was a hardship at all. My newest nephew (plus his older siblings) is a delight. 3. This week we took our seadoo out on the lake. It has been two years since we have had the time. Living 15 minutes away from the lake now we have moved is going to be awesome. My sister and her husband joined us with their boat. We had a blast. The pictures are not the best...we were driving very fast. 4.  I found this cute picture of Jam the other day... 5. Well I have moving down the kids in order and now it is time for Little J. A lot of people asked me when I announced (well showed everyone by continuously throwing up) that we were expecting again when our then youngest was 6 if this pregnancy was a 'mistake'. It was definitely not a mistake. He was very planned, we had just been waiting for a long time for this little man. 1. This little man hit our house by storm. I went for my 37 week check up and my Doctor said that I was going straight upstairs to deliver as my high blood pressure was so high it was making her blood pressure high.    2. He is full of life and completely rules the roost.       3. Little J Amblyopia however we are making huge improvements. We started with his eye sight at 20/100 and our last appointment (yesterday) we were at 20/40 +2. The ophthalmologist was almost as excited as I was. Mind you he can pull off the glasses. So Cute. 4. Little J loves everyone....

WOW it has been a very busy week. My Random Five 1. After trying to sell our house for a year we accepted an offer on our house. 2. Yesterday I went house hunting- nothing jumped out at me. 3. I am really struggling with my allergies. I can't seem to find anything that helps without sending me to sleep. 4.My husband loves Pineapple upside down cake. I found a recipe for these cupcake versions and they are the BEST. I found this awesome recipe on Pinterest from chef in training . 5. We don't pay for satellite TV but like to watch old shows. Right now my husband and I are currently living through Deep Space Nine again. The kids love it. Here we go again...I am linking up with The Pebble Pond for Random 5 Friday. Hopefully I can think of five things that don't bore you all so much you never come back. 1. I LOVE Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds - The Dark Chocolate flavor. (I just ate a handful). I buy them in bulk from Sam's Club.     2. We have had A LOT of rain this week. I took Little J out with me to walk the dog. I let him jump in the puddles so much we had to go back and change his clothes - it was worth it to see him have fun. (The big kids were SO jealous). 3. I took Little J for his check up at the Ophthalmologist Wednesday and his eyes have improved another 10% YEAH! When we started this journey with his Amblyopia his eye site was 20/100 he is now between 20/50 and 20/60 our original goal (well the Ophthalmologist's goal) was to get him to 20/40. 4. Grandma and the kids had a great time gardening last weekend. The older kids learned a lot about weeding and had great fun...

Random 5 Friday 1. We have a crazy dog. We love him but he won't fetch a ball. In fact he doesn't really play at all. However he does like his rubber duck. He also spends a lot of time sat perched on the top of the sofa like a cat staring out of the window. 2. My husband and I met when I was 2 our parents were friends. He was 4 and threw-up on my Mom's sofa. 3. After moving away we met again when I was 15 I noticed the T shirt he was wearing (It was awesome). I told my friend I would get the T shirt in two weeks (My husband came with it lol) We have been inseparable ever since. The T shirt is now framed on our living room wall. It is an excellent conversation starter. 4. We love the beach. If we could move anywhere it would be near the beach...or the mountains...in the middle of no-where. OK so I love solitude. I am definitely not a city person. Little J spent our week at the beach last summer killing waves.    5. We ...

Last week I found it very hard to write five random things. I am hoping that it will be easier this week. I have found myself thinking about it all week. 1. I am a self confessed over protective Mom. After losing my oldest daughter some say it is not surprising. I often call my sister for advice to find out if I am being over-protective or just being a normal protective Mom. 2. I don't do well with gray skies...they make me sad. 3. We are having our Easter egg hunt tomorrow. We waited for Grandma and Grandpa to come home. 4. I am fortunate to be able to work from home. 5. This is the first time that I have written a random 5 post. I have decided to think of 5 random things is very hard... 1. I am a member of  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have been all my life. This weekend is our General Conference. I love this weekend it is a time for me to step back and rejuvenate. 2. I am an expat (from England) I have lived in the US for 14 years and I LOVE IT. We are on countdown to become citizens. 3. I have 3 living children Jam - 12, Boo - 10, and Little J - 4. I also have two angels in heaven Heather, and Sam. 4. I am TOTALLY addicted to an English show called Foyle's War I love the fact that each episode is movie length. I like that it is historical based around World War II in Britain. 5. This year I have been blessed to be a member of the Schoolhouse Review Crew . To say I am LOVING it is an understatement. I have enjoyed using new products and using them with my children.
