Enjoying the Chaos

We have tried a lot of online typing programs. My favorite so far is  UltraKey Online Family Subscription  from  Bytes of Learning . It's completely online and doesn't require any downloading which makes it super simple to swap between learners, all you need to do is to change the user name and password and start as a different learner. Saying that Captain has his own laptop. It's old and doesn't have much downloadable memory which is of course another advantage of an online program! When we first got the program I signed in and set up all the users in my family. Captain and I have been the main users. My hubs is meaning to use it but he's been super busy at work lately. I wanted to use it at the same time as Captain as he is a complete beginner and I have been typing for a long time. Captain had great fun at his PineWood Derby. He had worked super hard on his car (with a lot of help from his Dad)! They made it through to the finals but that's it. Last year his car placed first...but you can't win them all. They struggled this year to get the car to weigh enough! We even had to go buy some extra weights.  It was great fun! He had a blast with his friends! He even got an award for the car most likely to be on the front of a magazine!

We love anything by  Heirloom Audio Productions  so we were super excited to be sent their latest audio adventure Wulf The Saxon . In fact if you have read our blog long enough you will have heard about all of the other audio productions they have produced - we own all eight of them. They are our favorite entertainment on long car journeys each story is movie length around two and a half hours. It's a great way to pass time in the car or just relaxing on a cold afternoon. G.A Henty  is a favorite here. At one time Jam had a goal of reading all of them before he graduated...I'll have to check up on how he's doing! We have not found a Heirloom Audio Production we don't like! We are also members of their Live The Adventure Club  it's a fun monthly membership club where you can access a lot of extra information loads of extras including study guides, music soundtracks etc! Happy Valentine's Day

Today Captain and I had another fun trip to our local Home Depot. We were expecting 5-6 inches of snow so I wasn't sure if we were going to make it or not. The snow held off long enough for us to make it.
