Do you take snow days or sun days!
Last winter, Captain was a little put out when our local school district had to close for a couple of days because of snow. I tried to explain that they closed because the children would not have been safe going to school. He asked why we didn't have snow days. I asked him if the snow made it difficult to get to the table with his school books. He laughed and said of course not. So there you have it! I said, that's why we don't have snow days. I don't think he was convinced but we continued with school anyway. We have recently moved, this summer has been a lot cooler than our previous summers. In fact my kids have asked all summer...when is summer coming. So last week out of the blue...at the end of September, we had a super hot day. Well hot for here anyway.
