I have to let you all know about a really fun math website.... Yes I just said MATH Check it out here.
My kids have been playing on this for just over a week. It takes no more that 5-10 minutes and focuses on basic math skills;  Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division. 

The kids log themselves on to website and I get a report emailed to me once a week with their progress. It's all about accuracy, speed, and of course FUN.

The website is a free not for profit organization and donations are excepted (and probably welcomed).

Magnificent Tales -Treasury of Bible Stories - Review and Giveaway

For the last couple of week Captain America has really been enjoying this really cool picture book full of bible stories. Captain America has really loved these stories. In fact the very day this book came in the mail he made Dad read it from cover to cover. Just about every day since, he has convinced someone to read at least one to him. The stories are all told in rhyme which make them really fun to read as well as listen to. The pictures are also very bright and fun. The book retails for $14.99 it's marketed for ages 4-8 and it makes the perfect book for bedtime. You can check out the book trailer below... The Ultimate Blog Party #UBP13

This is my first time participating in this blog party so I am kind of nervous... You know the walk into a room and not knowing any one kind. I am originally from England and have lived in the States for the last 14 years. My husband is also from England and so although out children were all born here. They still have some strange British quirks, eat British food, and pronounce things in different ways - yes my boys are cowboy boot wearing Americans through and through. The hats normally only come out for Halloween though. We starting homeschooling about two years ago when Jam was starting 5th grade and Boo 3rd. We love it. At the time we had chickens and bunnies - however we recently gave them to a friend who has a farm since we are trying to relocate closer to my husbands work. (He commutes an hour each way.)
