Random Five Friday - First Homeschool Field Trip of the New School Year
Today we headed out to our city Zoo for our first field trip of the new school year. It turned out to be a really fun day. I am going to give you the top five things we did today.
The first thing we did was go to the bird feeding. It's Boo's favorite and they don't do it when the temperature cools down.
1. Feeding time at the Zoo!
I got a kiss!
2. The kids love to have their picture taken at each statue we find at the Zoo. We have them going back for years. It's really cute to look back on them. We found a new one today.
3. Our zoo opened a new exhibit recently for the Orangutan's. It's really cool, there is a lot of fun things there. Our zoo is really working on some exciting projects right now. Captain can't wait till they put in the splash pad!
4. One of our favorite things to do at the zoo is to take some time to sit and draw. We try to pick a different thing each time.
5. Do you see the cute little water colors in the picture. I found them in Walmart in the back to school section for $1. I bought 3...wish I had bought more!
I used to link up at the Pebble Pond for my Random Five but that doesn't seem to be working at the moment. So for now it's just my Random Five!
