Meet our new family member - Filey The Yorkie
At the end of November we welcomed a new family member into our home. She is adorable and has won the hearts of everyone here.
She is such a loving little fur ball and is such fun to have around.
Isn't she just adorable!
She lives in a a safe area of the house when we go out (she is still a puppy after all) Well last night we had an adventure. Hubby and I popped out with Captain and the older kids were at swim practice. On our return home, I was chatting on the phone with my mom who is on vacation so hubby went into the house first. He could hear the puppy jumping around excited for us to be home, but couldn't see her and she didn't come up to him. Finding it strange he looked around only to see this little fur-ball on the wrong side of the baby gate. Now this gate has small holes so there is no way she could have squeezed through. So after putting her back over the other side (to see if she tried to get over again). Yep within a few minutes she backed up as far she could ran towards the gate and jumped...yep this little 5lb ball of fluff just about cleared the baby gate! She had obviously kept trying while we were out and been successful.
So guess what hubby's newest 'honey do' list item is...buy and install a door! So when we go out she has more freedom than her little crate she uses at bedtime. She loves her crate and sleeps in it on my bedside table. However, I don't like leaving her in it during the day.
She is so adorable and has won all our hearts!
