Enjoying the Chaos

I just love this idea of walking to work even though you work at home! If I didn't start at 4am I would definitely take the challenge! However I think I am going to make a HUGE effort to walk HOME from work - what a concept!!  I also think I will start getting my kids to walk to school! What an excellent way to start each day! Jam is studying 'Around the World for 80 Days' by Jules Verne for Geography this term. One of the fun things he is doing is reading it with his Grandma!!  She is away right now and this is a great way for them to stay close. Grandma is reading each chapter along with Jam and they are emailing each other what they think about the book and discussing different things they find interesting!!  Jam thinks this is so much fun! He gets to use the computer and practice his typing skills and have something in common with his Grandma at the same time!! The kids tried out the monster lab creative kids set today! To say they loved it was an under statement! First of all they colored them! Then Jam put them on the baking sheet, covered in foil. They watched closely through the oven door. I had to open the door and save the 'Mad Professor' as he started to curl.  However the rest of them came out perfect! The kids LOVED them! We took our 16 year old niece to her first 4th of July Fireworks display tonight! It was excellent! Nearly 15 minutes of fireworks from our small little town, they did an excellent job. After the heat advisory it was a perfect 71 degrees, great for fireworks! We also had some great fun with some light up bubble guns we bought last summer!
