Random Five July 17

1. Boo's been gone at girls camp this week. Typically it was the hottest week of the year.

2. She happily went to bed at 8pm...

3. I missed her like crazy. She was stuck to me like glue after I picked her up. So I guess she missed me too :)

4. Boo and Captain have championships for our summer league tomorrow.  Jam can't swim because of all his summer travels to Disney, high adventure camp, and Youth Conference to Nauvoo he only made one swim meet. You have to swim 2 to qualify - luckily Boo and Captain just made it. It's been a busy summer.

5. Jam and Captain modeled in a little 'back to school' fashion show for our local Goodys store. Funny how four of the kids were homeschoolers :) let me see what's on my back to school clothes shopping list...

I will let you know how the kids do tomorrow!

For the last couple of week Captain America has really been enjoying this really cool picture book full of bible stories. Captain America has really loved these stories. In fact the very day this book came in the mail he made Dad read it from cover to cover. Just about every day since, he has convinced someone to read at least one to him. The stories are all told in rhyme which make them really fun to read as well as listen to. The pictures are also very bright and fun. The Ultimate Blog Party #UBP13

This is my first time participating in this blog party so I am kind of nervous... You know the walk into a room and not knowing any one kind. I am originally from England and have lived in the States for the last 14 years. My husband is also from England and so although out children were all born here. They still have some strange British quirks, eat British food, and pronounce things in different ways - yes my boys are cowboy boot wearing Americans through and through. The hats normally only come out for Halloween though. We starting homeschooling about two years ago when Jam was starting 5th grade and Boo 3rd. We love it. At the time we had chickens and bunnies - however we recently gave them to a friend who has a farm since we are trying to relocate closer to my husbands work. (He commutes an hour each way.) So my blog name makes me chuckle it should now be Homeschool but NO chickens and bunnies. I am excited to meet new friends. Leave me a comment to say Hi.
