Super Teacher Worksheets {TOS REVIEW}

What if I told you there is somewhere you could go to find worksheets and teacher helps for just about every subject your child is studying. We have recently received a Individual Membership to Super Teacher Worksheets.

I have used quite a few different sheets during the last month. The first set of sheets I printed were the spelling lists and activities. I have been focusing on how well Captain can read, but haven't been quite as dedicated with spelling and so I decided this was the perfect time to start. Although Captain is the age of a 3rd grader most of his work is 4th grade or higher. However, I decided to start on the 3rd grade lists.

Each spelling level or grade has thirty lessons. Each lesson contains a different list of spelling words. The spelling starts at grade 1 or level A and continues to a 5th grade or level E. Each level has a printable word list, and several different kinds of work sheets. Some of the work sheets contain ABC order activities, correct the misspelled words, crosswords, scrambled words, write twice, flash cards, spin and spell, and of course spelling tests.

My favorite worksheet was the worksheet that used the spelling words in a sentence but the word MAY be misspelled. The child has to find the word and then decide if it is correct or wrong.

There are literally thousands of worksheets on the website. I still don't think that I have looked at everything. One of the other worksheets we have been using are the music ones. I have 3 piano players. However, these worksheets have been most helpful for Captain. Although I wish that I had them a few years ago.

Captain has been using a fun new sheet to mark off his piano practice! It's a fun way to keep track.

On of the other fun additions to this program is the worksheet generator. You can make your own math sheets, bingo, flashcards, ABC worksheets (for younger kids), 4 puzzle sheets generators, plus 4 quiz generators. There is also the ability to make classroom newsletters and calender's, plus special holiday worksheets. This is fun when one of your children needs to revisit a particular topic and you want to make it more interesting for them. We use a non-consumable math program and I have used this worksheet generator to make a worksheet that matches what we are studying!. You can see the flash cards I created for the three times table.

I don't think this has been Captain's favorite review! But it has been one of mine. When you think of a subject and then are able to type it in and search for a topic and find enough information to create a great study. I looked up hurricanes and I got a 15 page unit study! That was fabulous and perfect for Captain to work on with all the terrible storms lately.

They also have some worksheets in Spanish! I know you may think this doesn't apply to you, if you don't speak Spanish. However, think about your Spanish learners, some of these simple worksheets would be perfect to practice their new skills. I know Boo recently checked out some kids Spanish books from out local library. They were a perfect level for her to read and translate without being too hard. She can always get slightly harder books next time.
