The Magic School Bus Science Club! - Educents Deal!!!
I am already looking at school curriculum for next year. One thing I want to change is our science curriculum. Captain still loves the Magic School Bus and was super excited when they came back to Netflix. He also loves doing science experiments! I recently re-looked at the Magic School House Science Kit.
There are so many topics available and I am sure that Captain would be super excited. Not only is there some fun projects to do it also comes in the MAIL - that's exciting in itself! Captain would be super excited just waiting for the new box to arrive each month!
Look at those fun topics listed. I think if I had been taught science in such a fun way I might have enjoyed it more. I found that Educents is having a super sale and you can get the kit for just $119.99. For this you get one kit delivered every month! The kits themselves were developed by Harvard graduates and scientists! The website says they are suitable for kids 5-12 years old and since Captain fits right in the middle of that age range it sounds perfect!
Each kit comes with a manual to read about the topic, instructions (as a parent that's great!) The materials needed for a few experiments and access to an online club to learn more about each topic. Plus you can give your child a certificate to say they have completed it. So this is actually 12 months of science - perfect if you school year round.
This is the best price I have seen this kit and I'm super excited. When I clicked on the purchase link it also gave me the choice of having delivery in October, November, or December so you don't even have to start right away! Oh I just had a great thought... if you are like me and looking for Christmas presents that don't come in the form of another toy this would be an exciting choice. You could even get Grandma or Grandpa to buy it and then it would be like the child is getting a gift every single month!!! So much better than another toy to go in the overflowing toy box - or is that just a problem in my house!
