Mixed up Monday!

Last week was a full and busy week. The older kids had book reports to submit. I can't believe there is only four days left in this quarter! 

They both worked on Shakespeare plays! 

Jam did a video presentation of his play! Boo did that last quarter for Frankenstein.

They have to finish up their science projects this week and then we are counting down the last quarter of the year!

Boo drew a quick picture for Jam to.use for his video!


We have started using Bento boxes for lunch Captain loves them!


Captain has been learning to quill! I found it fun too. Check our new review to see the end project!


We are getting quite good at homemade pizza! Fresh parmesan is perfect!

For the last couple of week Captain America has really been enjoying this really cool picture book full of bible stories. Captain America has really loved these stories. In fact the very day this book came in the mail he made Dad read it from cover to cover. Just about every day since, he has convinced someone to read at least one to him. The stories are all told in rhyme which make them really fun to read as well as listen to. The pictures are also very bright and fun. The Ultimate Blog Party #UBP13

This is my first time participating in this blog party so I am kind of nervous... You know the walk into a room and not knowing any one kind. I am originally from England and have lived in the States for the last 14 years. My husband is also from England and so although out children were all born here. They still have some strange British quirks, eat British food, and pronounce things in different ways - yes my boys are cowboy boot wearing Americans through and through. The hats normally only come out for Halloween though. We starting homeschooling about two years ago when Jam was starting 5th grade and Boo 3rd. We love it. At the time we had chickens and bunnies - however we recently gave them to a friend who has a farm since we are trying to relocate closer to my husbands work. (He commutes an hour each way.) So my blog name makes me chuckle it should now be Homeschool but NO chickens and bunnies. I am excited to meet new friends. Leave me a comment to say Hi.
