Hey Mama! Schoolhouse Planner {TOS Review}

Hey Mama! Schoolhouse Planner 2016-2017 Review
I don't know about you but I need all the help I can get to be organized. Homeschool organization takes a lot of work. However, when you have the right tools it becomes a lot easier. I recently received a copy of the new Hey Mama! Print Schoolhouse Planner 2016-2017 from The Old Schoolhouse.

I love the cover of this planner. It's old world charm and it's awesome! The calendar/planner is chock full of papers and planner sheets to help everyone.
The first three pages are monthly quick views of 2016, 2017, and 2018. With some awesome motivation thrown in a long the way.
"What does the IDEAL Mama look like? - Easy Look in the mirror and smile big. There she is!"

Then we jump into the part of the calendar we will be using - July 2016 there is a ruled page and then a large month view 2-page spread ready to be used. Each month has a dedicated 4 page spread. The first two pages are a sheet of motivation and the lined monthly note page and then next two are the actual calendar pages. The last month in this calendar is June 2017.
The next section is the weekly planning pages. Each 2 page spread covers one week with spaces for 5 days and 7 subjects per day. Or you can place your children's names across the top and subjects going down - since they are not labeled it's easy to customize! Again between each month are some motivational and educational quotes.

After the weekly planning pages are pages for monthly or yearly goals. There is a space to write a child's name so it can be used for more than one child easily. Then come attendance charts (5 - 180 days) which I actually won't use since we track hours rather than days, but a brilliant idea if you do! My favorite helpful sheets come after this 'Books Read This Year' is an awesome idea. They can be marked by student and grade and has a space for the title of the book, the author, and the date completed. Next comes a curriculum planning sheet, have you ever seen something online and knew straight away that it would be perfect for a particular child - in five years, now you have somewhere to write it down so you don't forget.
Some other extras are;
Homeschool contact lists
Writing prompts
Story Starters
Thirteen Colonies
Timeline for Inventions from 1023 - 2001
U.S Presidents and their Wives
Branches of Federal, State and Local Governments,
United States and Capitals
How to create an Academic Transcript
I love all of the extra quotes and motivation that fills the pages. Honestly planning is the time when you need that!
I also get to offer you a great discount code if you want to get this calendar for yourself!

A total of 196 pages full of everything you need!
