I have seen lots of posts about NotebookingPages.com online and I have always thought that it would be a great thing to add to my homeschool. So I was really pleased when they showed up on the list of reviews available to the review crew.

I was offered a Notebooking Pages Lifetime Membership and I was really excited! Note-booking is something that I have tried to offer my children by myself but man o man it's hard to do it with everything else. If you are not sure what it is I will explain briefly.

Notebooking is a fun way for kids to document what they are learning/studying. I have actually noticed a huge trend in this type of work, even with adults lately and I can understand why. It's a great way to incorporate lots of techniques; writing, drawing, charts, thoughts and feelings into a memory book of types that is fun to look back on later.

I have also noticed that when Captain (as I focused this review on him) goes away after learning about a particular person or subject matter with a notebook page he will come back and show me what he's done in a very animated and excited way. He's had time to process what he's learned and then expressed it himself and he loves that freedom.

I used these pages with Captain and he loved them. He has been really excited about writing lately. In fact this review couldn't have come at a better time. Captain has been working on a online bible program and he wanted to write about each person that he learned about. I went straight to the NotebookingPages.com website and and reviewed all their topics. Seriously, I think there is a notebooking page done for every topic you can imagine. However, our need was Bible topics. Captain had asked for this and because of this membership it was SO easy. All I had to do was click and print.

We have quite a few ring binders at home. I found a thin one - as I wanted to try and keep it as organized as possible. Next I printed the cover sheet for the Bible Notebooking Pages. I love that this is included as it makes it easy to pick and choose the ones you wanted. Captain decided he wanted all of them. So that's what I did. So his table of contents also doubles up as his folder cover. Although, in the future when he's finished them all I think I will move it to the inside and let me decorate a cover on card stock and then slide that in instead.

The notebooking pages vary by design. There are spaces that encourage coloring, lined pages that encourage writing, and most pages have a colored or black and white design. I printed a mixture for Captain and he loved some of the colored pictures that were included.

I know that we will use this a lot. It's a huge resource and will save me hours of time.

It's also so easy to navigate. When I first signed into the member center I was very impressed with the layout and organization.

Another use that I can see for this subject matter inspiration. Although we have incorporation the note-booking pages with another study program you could just as easily use the note-booking pages as a guide. For example; the Bible note-booking pages lists a lot of people and subjects mentioned in the bible. This could be printed and then you could study each person or event using different resources and completing the pages as you go. So it gives you a gentle outline of study.

I have already printed some of the music/composer notebooking pages for Boo to work on next year. I won't give her any instructions other than learn about these topics and use the pages to record what you learn - isn't that amazing. I know she'll be so excited to have such freedom in her studies.

I really can't tell you enough good things about this resource. If you have a printer and these pages you have an endless supply of lessons and materials at your fingertips. With computer access and a library card the world is yours!
