We don't have TV but we love watching movies. Of course with two boys action movies are high on our watch list. So anytime we are told about a movie that's high on the action and also family friendly we are really excited.
Mickey Matson movies are a favorite of the kids. We watched The Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure previously and so when the kids heard there was a second movie they were really excited to watch it. So a couple of nights ago we had a fun movie night. To make it even more fun Grandma and Grandpa, my brother and his three kids were with us so it was a real houseful.
Captain and his cousin had such fun with this movie. It held their attention for the whole time. By the end of the movie Captain had gone to his room and come back in his pirate costume.
This movies opens with Mickey Matson feeling unappreciated after his heroics in the first movie. He ends up going against evil Admiral Ironsides and his pirates. They have a new invention 'The Telsa Coil' which is a weapon of mass destruction.
Can Mickey and his best friend Sully beat the pirates and prevent them sending the whole world back to the stone age. Well of course I know, but I'm not going to tell you. However, if you want to find out you can enter to win your own copy of the DVD.

Oooh! The boys loved the first movie! We'd love to win this one. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteNo I haven't watched Mickey Matson. My favorite movie is The Sound of Music.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Mickey Matson before but I'm so glad to hear about it, this would be great for my son's birthday party. Jane Austin's Persuasion is my favorite. (I hope I'm not double commenting, it didn't look like my first comment went through). Thanks!
