Random Five Friday June 26th

-
1. Coming home from vacation is always very sad.
2. Jam went on a high adventure this week.  It's been weird without him here. The first day he had an argument with a bolder and got a really bad black eye.
3. We have spent the day playing a math game we received to review 'Shape Whiz' we have played it a lot and the first thing we did when Dad got home was to make him play it too.
4. Captain and Boo have another swim meet tomorrow.  It will be Captain's 2nd ever meet and he is SO excited.
5. I am starting to get next year's curriculum organized. I can't believe I will have a 9th grader.

    Oh no! Poor kiddo!! I hope he is still able to fully enjoy his adventure. :) I'm so jealous of y'all girls on the Simply Fun review! We love games!

For the last couple of week Captain America has really been enjoying this really cool picture book full of bible stories. Captain America has really loved these stories. In fact the very day this book came in the mail he made Dad read it from cover to cover. Just about every day since, he has convinced someone to read at least one to him. The stories are all told in rhyme which make them really fun to read as well as listen to. The pictures are also very bright and fun. The Ultimate Blog Party #UBP13

This is my first time participating in this blog party so I am kind of nervous... You know the walk into a room and not knowing any one kind. I am originally from England and have lived in the States for the last 14 years. My husband is also from England and so although out children were all born here. They still have some strange British quirks, eat British food, and pronounce things in different ways - yes my boys are cowboy boot wearing Americans through and through. The hats normally only come out for Halloween though. We starting homeschooling about two years ago when Jam was starting 5th grade and Boo 3rd. We love it. At the time we had chickens and bunnies - however we recently gave them to a friend who has a farm since we are trying to relocate closer to my husbands work. (He commutes an hour each way.) So my blog name makes me chuckle it should now be Homeschool but NO chickens and bunnies. I am excited to meet new friends. Leave me a comment to say Hi.
