Random 5 Friday

This week was a bit crazy. It finally looks like we have got a house to buy. My Random 5 Friday has been delayed to a Random 5 Monday.

My random five for today are about Jam.

1. My Jam fits the song 'You are my Sunshine' perfectly. He definitely made us smile for the first time in a long time.


He was SO cute. It was a blessing to have a child in the house again.

2. He was the first US Citizen in our family, and looked very cute sporting his Red, White, and Blue.


3. Jam has always liked sports, even on his first christmas.

 

4. Jam has always been a very good big brother.

 



 5. He has grown into an amazing, fun, gentle, kind, brave, righteous twelve year old.

For the last couple of week Captain America has really been enjoying this really cool picture book full of bible stories. Captain America has really loved these stories. In fact the very day this book came in the mail he made Dad read it from cover to cover. Just about every day since, he has convinced someone to read at least one to him. The stories are all told in rhyme which make them really fun to read as well as listen to. The pictures are also very bright and fun. The Ultimate Blog Party #UBP13

This is my first time participating in this blog party so I am kind of nervous... You know the walk into a room and not knowing any one kind. I am originally from England and have lived in the States for the last 14 years. My husband is also from England and so although out children were all born here. They still have some strange British quirks, eat British food, and pronounce things in different ways - yes my boys are cowboy boot wearing Americans through and through. The hats normally only come out for Halloween though. We starting homeschooling about two years ago when Jam was starting 5th grade and Boo 3rd. We love it. At the time we had chickens and bunnies - however we recently gave them to a friend who has a farm since we are trying to relocate closer to my husbands work. (He commutes an hour each way.) So my blog name makes me chuckle it should now be Homeschool but NO chickens and bunnies. I am excited to meet new friends. Leave me a comment to say Hi.
