The Magic Grotto (Blue Grotto) Island of Capri - Guest Post - Boo

Today I read about the most amazing place on earth, The Magic Grotto also know as The Blue Grotto. (Halliburtons Book of Marvels)

Along time ago on an island called Capri, there was an earthquake and part of the caves entrance sunk into the sea. It is now known as the Magic Grotto. The only way to get into this cave is to enter by a narrow entrance by rowboat. Once you get inside the cave it's so beautiful you could imagine you are in heaven. The oars turn silver as they touch the water, if you skim the water with your hands they turn the color of diamonds. The walls and ceiling are the most beautiful shade of blue. 

I would love to visit this Magic Grotto. I read that if you dive into the depths that you would leave a trail of sparkle behind you, Wouldn't that be amazing.

Magnificent Tales -Treasury of Bible Stories - Review and Giveaway

For the last couple of week Captain America has really been enjoying this really cool picture book full of bible stories. Captain America has really loved these stories. In fact the very day this book came in the mail he made Dad read it from cover to cover. Just about every day since, he has convinced someone to read at least one to him. The stories are all told in rhyme which make them really fun to read as well as listen to. The pictures are also very bright and fun. The Ultimate Blog Party #UBP13

This is my first time participating in this blog party so I am kind of nervous... You know the walk into a room and not knowing any one kind. I am originally from England and have lived in the States for the last 14 years. My husband is also from England and so although out children were all born here. They still have some strange British quirks, eat British food, and pronounce things in different ways - yes my boys are cowboy boot wearing Americans through and through. The hats normally only come out for Halloween though. We starting homeschooling about two years ago when Jam was starting 5th grade and Boo 3rd. We love it. At the time we had chickens and bunnies - however we recently gave them to a friend who has a farm since we are trying to relocate closer to my husbands work. (He commutes an hour each way.) So my blog name makes me chuckle it should now be Homeschool but NO chickens and bunnies. I am excited to meet new friends. Leave me a comment to say Hi.
