Apple Picking - Field Trip
This week we went on a field trip with a home school Facebook group that we joined recently. I have never been apple picking. Normally I just opt out, go to the orchard shop and buy by the bag. The the kids, especially Captain wanted to pick. It was an unusually warm September day. One where I should have definitely worn shorts but opted for jeans instead!
The kids loved it even though it really didn't take very long. We even found some pears to pick. Captain has already eaten quite a few.
After we finished picking apples we noticed they had a super small corn maze. But it was still a corn maze and Captain was super excited to run through it...like all boys are. I sent Boo and Jam off to explore with him while I sat in the shade - thinking about WHY I hadn't worn shorts! :)
