Random Five Friday April 24 2015

1. I love city wide garage sales!

2. Boo made/decorated cupcakes at her church activity this week. They turned out really cute!

3. After having a little break (half work load) while Nana and Grandpa were visiting the kids are back on full schedule , and it feels good.

4. We school year round. I feel that it gives us a lot more flexibility during the year. The older two understand about long summer holidays, they were in public schools long enough to understand. Captain hasn't really known anything other than home school.

5. We made pizzas again for dinner. This time we tried a new recipe. Sausage, bacon, Chorizo, olives, onions, green peppers, pepperoni, fresh tomatoes, jalapenos, cheese (of course). It was delicious!

    I love any yard sales!! I can get myself in trouble though. I always seem to bring home things I don't need. 😜 Tonight is pizza night here. I look forward to it all week!

    Lovely cupcakes! She did a great job. Pizza...sounds good (vegetarian around here, though... ;) ). We need to HAVE a yard sale, here. ;)

For the last couple of week Captain America has really been enjoying this really cool picture book full of bible stories. Captain America has really loved these stories. In fact the very day this book came in the mail he made Dad read it from cover to cover. Just about every day since, he has convinced someone to read at least one to him. The stories are all told in rhyme which make them really fun to read as well as listen to. The pictures are also very bright and fun. The Ultimate Blog Party #UBP13

This is my first time participating in this blog party so I am kind of nervous... You know the walk into a room and not knowing any one kind. I am originally from England and have lived in the States for the last 14 years. My husband is also from England and so although out children were all born here. They still have some strange British quirks, eat British food, and pronounce things in different ways - yes my boys are cowboy boot wearing Americans through and through. The hats normally only come out for Halloween though. We starting homeschooling about two years ago when Jam was starting 5th grade and Boo 3rd. We love it. At the time we had chickens and bunnies - however we recently gave them to a friend who has a farm since we are trying to relocate closer to my husbands work. (He commutes an hour each way.) So my blog name makes me chuckle it should now be Homeschool but NO chickens and bunnies. I am excited to meet new friends. Leave me a comment to say Hi.
